These are some pictures of the place in Enumclaw. A few of them were taken in 2019, while my dad was still alive and the property was still a bit of a mess. The rest were taken during the cleanup process and right before the sale -- the last few memories of a place that had been in the family for five decades.

Eventually I'll share more about the house that we used to call our home, but our real estate agent feels that it's best not the tell anyone where the bodies are buried until after the closing date. My uncle's whereabouts will have to remain a mystery for another few weeks it seems...

The front of the house, which at first glance seems to be lacking proper maintenance. The second and third glances are similar as well.

The barn that my dad built almost 40 years ago.

The "new" garage, which was actually built 20 years ago.

Before the cleanup.

The back of the barn, clearly showing the effects of forty years of weathering.

The current kitchen, mostly the same as before.

This is me in the dining room, BEFORE Covid-19.

Taken with a drone.

Looking toward the back of the place.

This is a view of the neighborhood, looking west toward Buckley.

The view from the house --if it had another five or six stories added to it.

This is after some cleanup, which has somehow made the house less blurry.

The same barn, but with new paint and several thousand pounds of scrap metal and old lumber removed, not to mention the cars and the endless number of fluorescent light fixtures.

After some fresh paint and a lot of cleaning.

We upgraded the 1949 Plymouth to a 2013 VW Passat.

We painted it, turned the grass green, and the skies cloudy. Nature may have helped.

The living room, with a new cedar ceiling. Otherwise it's pretty much the same.

Taken early in 2020.

Another barn picture from a drone.

The front field from the air.

An aerial view of the neighborhood around the house.
